LOST (Season 2)
“Henry Gale” has breakfast with Jack Shephard and John Locke
Up until this scene we weren’t quite sure what to think about this “Henry Gale” character. While his story sounded a bit far-fetched, it was conceivable that he had been brought to the island just like everyone else. But with one ominous breakfast conversation, the show perfectly set up what would become a character that audiences loved to hate.
As it turns out, there was no ambush. So likely he just talked about this scenario to manipulate their “trust issues.” But, given what we learned about Benjamin Linus over the next few seasons, I think he just couldn’t help but be a little sinister.
